Program Partners

In 2017, we opened up our Program to include outside organizations and individuals who were like-minded, mission based and could help expand the Bridges to Homeownership mission.  With the success of this pilot we are now expanding the Program to include more Partners.  The purpose of our expanding beyond the pilot is to allow the Program the ability to scale and to provide those individuals and groups that qualify with access to housing inventory, construction resources, project management teams and pre-qualified home buyers.

To be eligible to become a Program Partner of the BTHO Program an organization must complete pre-qualification documents that require the applicant to provide a history of local neighborhood presence and experience with affordable housing acquisition, rehabilitation, and disposition.  Identify what the applicants disposition strategy will be for the property once it has achieved compliance (Owner Occupant, Lease to Own, etc.)

The applicant must also identify their funding source and their general financial wherewithal.  All Program Partners execute a renovation addendum that requires them to comply and reach compliance with BTHO.
